Southern Cross performs tribute to Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young

On Wednesday, April 27, Southern Cross brings the incredible songbook of Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young to the Athens Theatre stage in DeLand. Audiences will be stunned by the group’s impeccable vocal harmonies, re-creating some of the toughest songs in the CSNY vocal repertoire like “Suite: Judy Blue Eyes.”

In 1969, David Crosby, Stephen Stills and Graham Nash hit the Woodstock Music and Art Fair stage and forever changed the face of folk-rock music, creating a musical legacy that continues today. Southern Cross re-creates Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young’s unforgettable musical tapestry, including favorites like “Teach Your Children,” “Just a Song Before I Go,” “Our House,” “Woodstock” and the still bone-chilling “Ohio.”

Audiences will be taken back to an unforgettable time as Southern Cross pays homage to each perfectly composed song, reproducing each piece of music as it was originally written, recorded and performed throughout Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young’s musical legacy.

If you enjoy listening and partying to the music of the most popular folk-rock group of all time, then you are going to love the Southern Cross show!

Southern Cross will perform at 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 27, at the historic Athens Theatre, 124 N. Florida Ave. in Downtown DeLand.

Tickets cost $35 for preferred reserved seating (first six rows orchestra and two rows center balcony), and $30 for general reserved seating. A $3-per-ticket processing charge and 6.5-percent sales tax will be added to each purchase.
