Members of Launch CU and nonmembers are invited to stop by and have up to five boxes of their papers shredded for free 8:30-10:30 a.m. at six branches on select dates.
The only “shred day” in West Volusia will be Friday, May 13, at the Orange City branch, 2277 Veterans Memorial Parkway.
Shredding sensitive documents including old bills and other items can help with preventing identity fraud. Remove any plastic bags, plastic materials such as CDs, and garbage prior to attending shred day.
This will be a drive-thru shred event. For safety reasons, remain in your vehicles and a Launch representative will come and pick up your boxes or bags from your trunk or back seat.
