A 39-year-old Deltona man got to know a woman during a week of conversing on Facebook, and they agreed to spend the night together.
Therefore, he had Lyft deliver her to his house just a little past midnight April 24, and, after the two Facebook friends spent some time awake together, the trusting guy fell asleep.
When he awoke around 8 a.m. the same day, not only was the woman gone, but so were the man’s wallet, three cellphones, his car keys, and his car.
Gullible Guy described the woman “as an average white female [You have to watch out for average white females!], approximately 5’2” to 5’3 in height, black hair, crooked teeth and last seen wearing a gray T-shirt and denim jeans with pierced ears.” I assume that means the woman’s ears were pierced, not the denim jeans.
Maitland police found Gullible Guy’s car in their city April 26, and had it towed to Casselberry. Supposedly Gullible Guy got it back.
Maybe he’ll be a bit more careful from now on?
