Registration is going on now for Camp Create, presented by the Museum of Art – DeLand in June and July, for children ages 6-12.
At Camp Create, participants will explore all the art-filled adventures they can dream of, and will create 2D and 3D projects. Each week, a new adventure theme will ignite their creativity and imaginations.
Camp Create runs for six weeks, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Friday, except for the fourth week, which (because of the July Fourth holiday) will be 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Tuesday, July 5-Friday, July 8. The schedule is:
June 13-17 – Magical Creatures
June 20-24 – Game On!
June 27-July 1 – Out in the Wild
July 5-8 – Under the Sea
July 11-15 – Worldwide Adventures
July 18-22 – Enchanted Kingdom
The cost is $190 for one week for museum members (except for the short week of July 5-8, when the cost is $160 for museum members). The cost is $215 for one week for nonmembers (except for the short week of July 5-8, when the cost is $185 for nonmembers).
