Several city roads will be resurfaced beginning on Tuesday.
The city has contracted with P&S Paving to complete resurfacing of a total of six lane miles. The streets that will be resurfaced include:
West Volusia Avenue – Between South Boundary Avenue and South High Street;
South Julia Avenue – Between West New York and West Howry Avenue;
North Sans Souci Avenue – Between Oakdale and West Pennsylvania Avenue;
West Oakdale Avenue – Between North Clara and North Florida Avenue;
North Clara Avenue – Between West University and West Plymouth Avenue;
North Cherokee Avenue – Between East University and East Oakdale Avenue;
East Pennsylvania Avenue – Between North Amelia Avenue and DeLand High School;
Brunswick Lane – Between International Speedway Boulevard (U.S. 92) and Industrial Drive;
Industrial Drive – Between Brunswick Lane and Summerhill Drive.
Resurfacing should be complete within 10 working days, which are subject to weather conditions. Crews will work to ensure that roads remain clear to traffic and available to residents during resurfacing.
