The Fall Festival of the Arts — and DeLand — welcome the community to the annual unveiling of the Festival Poster Design, 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 8, in the historic Athens Theatre, 124 N. Florida Ave. in Downtown DeLand.

You can meet the artist, Susan Currier, whose design will be on the poster and the festival T-shirts, and enjoy food and drink offered by Venue 142.

The festival, now in its 29th year, is DeLand’s only juried art show, and it brings more than 50,000 visitors to the city. Attracting vendors from all over the country — and abroad — the festival will run Nov. 19-20 in Downtown DeLand.
