Hill Street Theatre is proud to announce their first show of the 2022-23 theater season. On Tuesday, Oct. 11, Wednesday, Oct. 12, and Friday, Oct. 14, the popular and entertaining play Clue — adapted from the Hasbro board game of the same name — will hit the stage of the DeLand High School Auditorium.

For those three nights, Hill Street Theatre invites you to put on your detective’s cap and cloak to help solve the vicious murders taking place within Boddy Manor.

Was it Miss Scarlet (played by Lorelei Wilson) in the library with the candlestick? Or perhaps Col. Mustard (Elian Morales-Nieves) in the lounge, with the wrench?

Maybe it was Mrs. White (Raine Taft) in the billiard room with a rope! Or should we turn our attention to Mrs. Peacock (Evey Flatley) in the kitchen with the dagger. Any of these scenarios is possible in Clue!

Leave it up to the wily butler Wadsworth (Daniel O’Leary), the sultry French maid Yvette (Grace Holland) or the mysterious Mr. Boddy (Maximus Owens) to complicate the already-chaotic situation.

Don’t neglect to look at Professor Plum (Josh Shea) as a possible suspect or ignore the mild-mannered Mr. Green (Jacob Erthal), who has many secrets of his own to divulge.

Adding to the evening’s festivities, we meet Cook (Neil Link), a Motorist (Ray Johnson), a Cop (Sam Lopez-Rosado) and a Singing Telegram (Rocky Good, Sophia Kountanis or Caroline Savage).

What do those people have to do with all this mayhem?

Fortunately, the Chief of Police (Tyra Gibbs) and her team of cops (Jarrell Rodriguez, Jacob Reller and Michael Samano) come in to figure it out and save the day.

The play is directed by Jenny Sejansky and stage-managed by Houston White and Tatiana Gonzalez.

This hilarious play version of Clue, by Sandy Rustin, is based on the screenplay (of the 1985 movie Clue) by Jonathan Lynn. The original music for the show is by Michael Holland, and is performed by Fidha Chowdhury.

Clue will be performed by Hill Street Theatre at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11, Wednesday, Oct. 12, and Friday, Oct. 14, in the DeLand High School Auditorium, 800 N. Hill Ave.

Tickets, which cost $5 for students and $10 for adults, may be purchased at the door.

Clue is presented with permission from Playscripts Inc. and Broadway Licensing.

See you at the theater!
