Effective immediately, SunRail’s trains are once again running to and from the Tupperware station in Osceola County.

The Florida Department of Transportation last week suspended SunRail service as Hurricane Ian approached Florida. The FDOT has announced, however, that rail service to and from the Kissimmee and Poinciana stations has not yet been restored, because the tracks in the southern segment of the SunRail corridor were damaged by the storm.

SunRail passengers wishing to go to the Kissimmee or Poinciana stops may do so via LYNX buses, while the track repairs are underway. The FDOT estimates the repairs will take “several weeks” to complete.

Meanwhile all other normal SunRail operations and schedules between DeBary and the Tupperware stops have resumed.
