The Friends of DeLeon Springs State Park will celebrate the park’s 40th anniversary with food, fun and games on Saturday, Oct. 15.
The celebration will feature events for the kids, history talks featuring stories from the springs’ past, and recognitions for some of the park’s VIPs from its early days. There will also be door prizes and much more.
DeLeon Springs’ 40th anniversary event will take place 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Oct. 15 at the state park, 601 Ponce DeLeon Blvd.
