DeLand High School celebrated Homecoming Oct. 21 with its annual parade through Downtown DeLand, and capped the day off with a huge victory over football rival University High School. The DeLand High Bulldogs finished the blowout game against the University High Titans 50-0.
The Homecoming events were a success, DeLand High’s then-Principal Dr. Melissa Carr said.
“After having the pandemic shut down all of our festivities, and last year it was a deluge of rain, this was the best weather for the best week of events,” she said. “Everybody had such a good time.”
