The Junior Service League of DeLand raised nearly $5,000 with its Denim and Diamonds Daddy-Daughter Dance Jan. 14. Father-daughter duos donned their best blue jeans and dresses and danced the night away at George Marks Elementary. The funds raised will go toward events and grants that support women and girls in the DeLand area.
