The Enterprise Museum is hosting a student art exhibit Thursday, May 4, through Saturday, May 27. The exhibition will feature works of art created by students enrolled in elective arts courses at Legacy Scholars Academy, on the campus of the Florida United
Methodist Children’s Home in Enterprise.
The artwork by artists from sixth through 12th grade with different skill levels will feature traditional art mediums, such as watercolor and acrylic paintings, as well as 3D sculptures and multimedia installations.
By identifying and recognizing past trauma, these students have learned to describe how they feel through their artwork with creativity, perseverance and dedication.
There is no charge to attend; donations are always gladly accepted.
The museum is at 360 Main St. in Enterprise. The hours are 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Thursday-Saturday.
