The West Volusia Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America is proud to award two $1,000 scholarships to students at local high schools.
This year’s recipients are Cadet Anaeli Infante from University High School in Orange City, who has as the Senior JROTC instructor Lt. Col. John Lubber, U.S. Army (retired), and Cadet Joshua Moore from Pine Ridge High School in Deltona, who has as the Senior JROTC instructor Maj. John D. White, U.S. Air Force (retired).
Each scholarship recipient must be an eligible graduating senior from any of the several West Volusia high schools. The scholarships are being offered to eligible seniors who are either JROTC cadets and/or children of a military veteran. The MOAA intends to reward the academic achievement of these students in keeping with the MOAA National Scholarship Program eligibility criteria.
