Georgia Avenue was full of life Saturday, June 3, with the Jeeps and Corvettes car show hosted by the DeLand Police Department. With plenty of cool cars to enjoy as well as a dunk tank with Mayor Chris Cloudman and Police Chief Jason Umberger, the event was a hit. In total, the event raised some $7,000, and the proceeds will be split between the DeLand Police Athletic League and the Volusia Sheriff’s Office’s Police Explorers program.
