Detectives with the DeLand Police Department are investigating a Saturday night shooting that sent one person to the hospital.
At 2:30 a.m., police officers responded to the area of S Frankfort Avenue and E Voorhis Avenue.
During the investigation, it was learned the male victim was driven to the hospital after being shot several times. The Criminal Investigations Division responded to the area.
The victim is listed in stable condition at an area hospital. No suspect information is available at this time as this is still an ongoing and active investigation.
