The chickens feed the garden for the Pescha family, and the garden feeds the chickens. The end result is naturally grown food with littleto-no-waste.

PHOTOS COURTESY ZACHARY MILES CHICKENS ARE MODELS, TOO — Lake Helen resident Zachary Miles developed a few hobbies during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. Not only did he start keeping a backyard flock of chickens, but he started modeling with them and releasing a calendar of photos, too. Photo is from his 2021 calendar, and he still has copies of his 2023 calendar available at his website, www.clucknorrismanor. com. In total, Miles’ star-studded manor is home to 26 chickens, including Oprah Henfrey, Judy Garhend, Chicki Minaj and Barbara Streishen. You can see more pictures of Miles’ flock on his Instagram page: @clucknorrismanor. In the coming months, Miles plans to start work on his 2024 chicken calendar.
