Launch Credit Union is hosting a free event for people wishing to buy or sell a home. Homeowner University will be 5:30-7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 10, at Launch Credit Union in DeLand, 301 W. New York Ave. 

“We are excited to provide one-on-one professional advice,” Launch VP of Real Estate and Business Development Jennifer Weis said. “Our team of experts will be available to answer all your questions. … a local inspector, title company, and homeowner’s insurance agent will all be on hand to give you up to date information in their area of expertise.  Plus, you’ll find out how you can get cash back in your pocket by using our Preferred Realtor Program.” 

Appetizers and beverages will be served, and attendees can enter for a chance to win a $50 Home Depot Gift Card. Attendees who open a new Launch Savings and Checking account within 30 days will receive $50 into their new account.
