Of the 20 nominees for USA Today’s favorite holiday historic home tour poll, Florida has just one representative, and it’s right in West Volusia: the Stetson Mansion.

Built in 1886, the Stetson Mansion, a roughly 10,000-square-foot home, was a winter residence for the family of Stetson University’s namesake, John B. Stetson. The private owners of the mansion offer year-round tours and have been recognized with a number of accolades.

The mansion previously placed in the top 10 of USA Today’s holiday home tours nationwide, and has been recognized by online travel agency Tripadvisor, too.

Online voting for this year’s USA Today poll will remain open until noon Wednesday, Nov. 29, at 10best.usatoday.com/awards/travel/best-holiday-historic-home-tour-2023
