There will be no garbage, recycling, or yard trash collection for residents of unincorporated Volusia County on Christmas and New Year’s days. Residents residing within city limits are encouraged to check with their city’s waste collection provider for holiday schedule updates.
Collection days normally scheduled between Dec. 25 and Jan. 5 will be the following day. For instance, Monday’s collection will be on Tuesday. Collection bins must be placed at the curb by 6 a.m.
