Re: Hoelscher letter in Feb. 29-March 6 Beacon
Bringing up an issue publicly demands that the sender establish a factual basis. He may not ignore facts that refute his premise.
This letter-writer says he fears that the public can lose “due process” if ’rump is so denied. For your edification: Supreme Courts are appellate courts and have no original jurisdiction without certiorari. ’rump went through the process. He lost! He was granted a hearing by SCOTUS; less than 100 are granted annually.
From my limited experience, I’d say ’rump got more “due process” than anyone else. I’d also say that “authoritative” attitudes and actions are an arrogation by ’rump’s GOP and “would deprive … life, liberties or prosperity” from anyone who disagrees with them.
