In response to David Rauschenberger’s guest commentary, I think it’s OK for me to respond since I’m not a disgruntled Democrat. Actually, I’m not a Democrat.

However, Mr. Rauschenberger refers to “The Daytona Beach News-Urinal,” “the Orlando Slantinel,” “cognitively impaired Joe Biden, and the vapid idiot Kamala Harris.” Sir, name-calling merely makes you look like a third-grader.

It is, of course, important that we take opportunities to contact our representatives and express our views in a public forum. Participating in our government is our civic duty, but you create the appearance of being unhappy about it all. I hope you can cheer up and still participate in a positive way that is more likely to make a difference.
