It’s that time of the year again in Deltona.
The city is celebrating Arbor Day on Friday, April 26, with a giveaway of small trees for replanting. The trees will be given free to Deltonans, who must provide proof of in-city residency,. The free-trees event is at Deltona City Hall, 2345 Providence Blvd,, 11 a.m.-1 p.m., or as long as the supply of trees lasts.
The city will make available four types of trees: Chickasaw plum, crape myrtle, Eastern redbud and sweetbay magnolia. There is a limit of one tree per household.
