I am writing this letter to the editor to endorse Harper Hill for the DeLand City Commission. I met Harper when I moved back to DeLand. We have worked together forming the beginnings of a booster club for the Stetson University men’s basketball team. We are also in the same Men’s Group.

Throughout these opportunities, we have become fast friends. His heart for this community and the knowledge he has about the people here made it easy for me to trust him with both home and auto insurance through his Allstate Insurance Agency.

Harper is honest and upfront. When auto-insurance rates started to rise, he personally notified me and made several recommendations on how my wife and I could save money and retain satisfactory coverage.

I have seen Harper actively pursue people on all sides of an issue to get their take. He looks at issues from the side of the enforcer, like the local government, but also from the side of those being impacted, like the citizens.

I know Harper Hill will serve well, not only me, but our community, as a member of the City Commission. Vote for Harper Hill.
