I have personally known Richard Paiva and the Paiva family for two decades, and he has always shown himself to be of the highest integrity and moral character. His knowledge on issues that affect DeLand residents is unmatched due to him having lived in DeLand most of his life and his concern for the betterment of the city. His ability to effectively convey information to others makes it a joy to talk with him.

Additionally, I have worked with Richard on many occasions, and his concern for my well-being and making sure I was doing what was expected of me and operating at my highest potential has made me truly respect him and his outlook on things. I think he would be the best candidate for the commission and he would do the best job possible for this beautiful city, because he truly cares for the people of DeLand.
