Editor, The Beacon:
It’s Nov. 13 and, for all practical purposes, the far-left in the Democrat (not Democratic) Party are still in shock. The confusion and sadness are only eclipsed by the ignorance of what happened. And what happened was huge. It was historic. It was a kick in the teeth to those who thought their media and useful idiots in Hollywood and “music” could carry another installed puppet across the finish line. Biden (the first Obama puppet) outperformed Kamala in every state, when he won in 2020.
This was an epic fail. I await the twisted explanation by those on the left and in local academia. I think we all know now that they aren’t really the experts.
The polls, for the most part, were way off. It wasn’t a “toss-up,” and Kamala didn’t win the popular vote as they predicted. Nearly all of the “constituencies” that Democrats carve out and pit against the rest of us increased their support for Trump. Black men, Latino voters and white women supported Trump in increasing numbers. My Democrat friends ask, “Why”?
Everything costs much more. The borders are open, porous and incompetently managed ever since Biden became president. Honestly, I didn’t like trying to weld the Biden administration’s immigration record to Kamala. She never did anything or had a say in anything. She was a prop. She checked all the boxes. That’s why she lost.
Never discount that “somebody” tried to kill Trump twice. I fear we’ve not seen the last attempt. We’re told Iran put “a hit” out on Trump. Biden and Democrats have spent nearly four years enriching the mullahs. Where do you think they get the money to attack Israel (through their proxies) and order hits on journalists and Donald Trump? It might not have been their intention, but ignoring those facts doesn’t change what’s transpired.
Dems have already promised a “new resistance” to the will of the electorate. And Elon Musk via Starlink “cheated” Democrats? That’s what you have?
I’d point out to my Democrat friends that there are still people in your party you can piss off with your tantrums and perversion of our justice system. I believe there are many who still voted for Kamala that won’t put up with the same playbook much longer. This is a movement away from the far-left lunacy.
We don’t want boys in girls’ sports after about 10 years old or tampons in little boys’ bathrooms. We don’t want men in women’s bathrooms. We want law enforcement funded and supported to protect us. We want lower gas and food prices. We want the borders managed and controlled. We don’t want a perverted Supreme Court. Apparently, neither do millions of people who voted for Biden/Harris in 2020, but didn’t in 2024.
Finally, Amendment 4 failed in Florida by 3 percentage points. I don’t care if it was a one-vote defeat. And anyone can get an abortion. Travel and medical costs not paid by me are the only deterrent.
Amendment 3 was useless. I walk 3 miles down 17-92 every night. Nobody’s having trouble finding weed. The drama has ended for at least the next two years. I revel in the agony of those who can’t understand this crushing defeat. The far-left folks were the problem. And their influence is waning. Think…
