Christmas came early this year with three packed events for DeLand: The Annual Teddy Bear Brunch at the Museum of Art – DeLand, the Christmas tree lighting and Santa extravaganza (where Santa and two of his elves parachute into Downtown DeLand), and the ever-popular DeLand Christmas Parade.

The name of this ukulele group is “Uke Happy,” which meets every Thursday night at the Abbey Bar in downtown Deland. Everyone is invited to come, and bring your ukulele! We even have extra’s if you don’t have one.
