DeLand police detectives are investigating a stabbing that happened Tuesday night. The preliminary investigation reveals there was a physical altercation between two males known to each other at 122 S. Garfield Avenue around 8:21 p.m.  One of the males left the scene and drove to 1500 N. Woodland Boulevard, where he was transported to the hospital for non-life-threatening stab wounds. The second male suffered minor injuries. The Criminal Investigation Division continues to investigate the circumstances of the incident with charges expected. This is an isolated incident, and the public is not in danger.
