Dewitt Taylor Middle School hosted “A Suessified Christmas Carol,” performed by the school’s drama department. The play follows the Charles Dickens story of ‘A Christmas Carol’ with a fun Dr. Suess twist on the characters. 

Virginia Henderson, teacher and leader of the drama department, had a heartfelt message for her students who worked tirelessly on the play. 

“They’ve worked really hard on this and I’m proud.” Henderson said. 

Henderson has transformed the department in her short two-year tenure as the drama teacher. The department defeated Pine Ridge in a county-wide drama competition this school year.
