Editor, The Beacon:

Thank you to Brian Young for his service to Stetson, its football team, and the community. When coach Young was here the first time around as the defensive coordinator, he was something special to watch from the stands — so passionate and animated.

When he returned as head coach, he was still very active on the sidelines, as he yelled and praised in equal measures. He was into the game and in the game. He just couldn’t seem to find that line behind which everyone was supposed to stand. The referees were kind to him.

Thank you, coach, and good luck with your next team.
