The Orange City Council elected Council Member Harold Grimm to the vice mayor position at a meeting on Feb. 11. The seat was previously held by Alex Tiamson, until his passing in December 2024. 

Grimm won by a 4-3 vote against District 2 representative Lisa Stafford. Grimm was nominated by Dawn Tiamson, District 3 representative and wife of the late vice mayor. 

Grimm has served on the Orange City Council as the District 1 representative since February 2024.
