The Florida Department of Transportation is inviting the public to learn and comment on its plan to repave U.S. Highway 17-92 between the St. Johns River bridge in DeBary and Wisconsin Avenue in Orange City.

A public meeting is set for 5:30-7 p.m. Thursday, March 13 at Gateway Center for the Arts, 880 N. U.S. Highway 17-92, DeBary. Those who cannot attend the meeting may access it remotely by registering at https://attendee.gotowebinar.com/register/3143871425618868823.

The FDOT plans to divide the resurfacing project into two parts. The first segment is approximately 5.24 miles between the river bridge and Saxon Boulevard, and the second segment extends from Saxon Boulevard to Wisconsin Avenue. The state agency has set the work for 2026.
