The Orange City branch of the Volusia County Parks and Recreation summer camp is changing locations — the program will now take place at Valentine Park.
The camp, which typically hosts around 60 children ages 5 through 12, has historically been located at Orange City Elementary School. Due to ongoing construction at the school, the Orange City Council made the decision to allow Volusia County Parks and Rec to utilize the park’s clubhouse, pavilion and sports fields instead.
Valentine Park will still be open to the public for the duration of the summer season.
