Could someone please define “Great Again” as in “Make America Great Again”? After viewing the tag team performance of the Stable Genius and his sidekick, Eyeliner Boy, to take down President Zelenskyy of Ukraine in the Oval Office, I turned off my television in puzzlement. Was this embarrassing spectacle part of the “Great Again” contemplated by MAGA?

Is the “Great Again” touted by MAGA supporters a reference to past events in America’s history? Such as Richard Nixon’s “peace with honor” that was used in 1973 to abandon South Vietnam? Or the investigations into communists and homosexuals conducted in 1954 by Wisconsin Sen. Joseph McCarthy where witnesses were summoned to congressional hearings and then insulted publicly? McCarthy extended his insults to members of the legal team hired by the U.S. Army to represent it at the hearings. The response by the Army’s attorney, Joseph Welch, has survived to this day: “Have you no sense of decency?”

The whole Oval Office debacle was undoubtedly planned and used to set up President Zelenskyy. In the coming days, we will probably see this event used to either renegotiate the minerals deal or as an excuse to show Putin even more consideration.

If this is the “Great Again” championed by MAGA … no thanks. There is no sense of decency!
