The DeLand Outdoor Art Festival celebrated its 60th anniversary on March 29th, showcasing incredible local talent and a strong sense of community spirit.

CHAMPS — During the 60th anniversary of the DeLand Outdoor Art Festival, winners of the Student Division stand with local art director and graphic designer Casey Marshall, and Happy Brain Neurofeedback owner and sponsor Vicki Duckett. PENCIL HIM IN — Standing behind his three art pieces, 12-year-old Elijah Vasquez took 1st prize in the 6th-7th grade division with his pencil-centered technique. He is a seventh grader at Southwestern Middle School in DeLand.

HOOT! HOOT! — With her owldorable pieces, 9-year-old Lia Monarch won 1st place in the kindergarten-5th grade division. She is in third grade and is homeschooled.

FLUTTERING FUN — Homeschooler Oria Monarch wins 1st in the 8th-12th grade division with her whimsical array of butterflies, flowers and other forestry artworks. She is 13 years old and is in eighth grade.

PURR-FECT PICTURES— With her cat and dragon drawings, 13-year-old Kylie Stillman takes 2nd place in the 8th-12th grade division. She is in eighth grade at Heritage Middle School, in Deltona.

INK-CREDIBLE SKETCHES — Aislinn Stillman receives 2nd place in the 6th-7th grade division with her various creations. She is in seventh grade and is 12 years old.

BRUSH-TAKING — Standing by her acrylic painted violin case, 15-year-old Olivia Martin comes out victorious with the best-in-show prize. She is in ninth grade at Deltona High School.

HEAD OVER HOOVES — Six-year-old Noah Vasquez stands with his various drawings including that of a giraffe, a landscape and the American flag. He won 2nd in the kindergarten-5th grade division and is a third grader at Citrus Grove Elementary, in DeLand.
