Lyonia Environmental Center Hosts Untamed Florida Photo Exhibit
Lyonia Environmental Center
Enjoy a journey through Florida’s springs at the Untamed Florida photography exhibit at Lyonia Environmental Center, 2150 Eustace Ave., Deltona.
Residents can meet the conservation and wildlife photographer, Linda Wilinski on Thursday, April 17. The gallery will open at 5:30 p.m., and her presentation will begin at 6 p.m. Wilinski will take attendees on a visual journey through Florida’s freshwater springs, showing captivating photos of natural beauty and incredible wildlife. Light refreshments and beverages will be provided by the Friends of Lyonia Environmental Center.
The exhibit will be on display through July.
“I am personally drawn to the clear blue freshwater springs,” Wilinski said. “Florida has the highest concentration in the world of these ethereal ‘liquid bowls of light.’ Observing an immense amount of wildlife being nourished by them has made me want to get more engaged in conservation. Giving back to nonprofit environmental organizations is a big part of why I do what I do.”
