Acrylic Painting: Concepts and Techniques With David Fithian, Session 1

2-4 p.m. at the Museum of Art – DeLand, 600 N. Woodland Blvd. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced artist, this course is designed to help you bring your creative vision to life — whether in abstract or realistic styles. Through the guidance of artist David Fithian, you’ll explore composition, design, color theory, and acrylic techniques. For adults and for students age 16 and above. The course continues 2-4 p.m. each Wednesday through April 9. Cost for the four-week course (includes basic acrylic paints, brushes and canvas): $100 for museum members; $120 for nonmembers.
