Birding With Babies and Toddlers

2:30-3:30 p.m. at Lyonia Environmental Center, 2150 Eustace Ave., Deltona. This program is appropriate for families with babies and toddlers. After a short educational session in Lyonia Preserve’s pavilion, young participants will be given recyclable “practice binoculars” for a hiking experience that will introduce babies and toddlers to common birds that can be seen in Florida scrub habitat. Bird songs will be played, and pictures will be encountered along the trail to create a birding experience for little ones. Free.
