Black History Month Program: Zora Memorialized

1 p.m. at the DeLand Regional Library, 130 E. Howry Ave. This presentation on Zora Neale Hurston will investigate the author’s legacy by looking at three Florida cities — Eatonville, St. Augustine and Fort Pierce — that have made special efforts to keep Hurston’s memory alive. Her books have inspired devotees to trek to the sites seeking connection and inspiration. Presented by Leslie Kemp Poole, associate professor at Rollins College in Winter Park. Free.
