Career Expo

10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Wayne G. Sanborn Activity Center, 815 S. Alabama Ave., DeLand. The career expo will feature representatives from various organizations, including the City of DeLand, the County of Volusia, the Volusia Sheriff’s Office, the Florida Department of Transportation, Volusia County Schools, Sparton, the U.S. Army, Navy and Air Force, and many more. Attendees can meet with staff and community partners to ask questions about their respective organizations and learn about available job opportunities. Applications will be accepted on the spot for those interested in pursuing a career with any of the participating organizations. Free.
