Constitution Day Ceremony

The Col. Arthur Erwin Chapter, National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution, will gather at the Historic Volusia County Courthouse, 125 W. Indiana Ave., to read the Proclamations from the City of DeLand and Volusia County, and will participate in the national “Bells Across America,” where the court house, local firehouses and churches will ring their bells at 4 p.m., nationwide, to commemorate the signing of the Constitution.  After a small ceremony, we are headed to the corners of Indiana Avenue and Woodland Boulevard to continue to ring bells, wave flags and have Constitutional material available to distribute.
