CPR Class – Basic Life Support

The Deltona Fire Department is offering this American Heart Association class, which is for those who want or need to know how to perform CPR as well as other lifesaving skills. Participants will be trained to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations, and provide early use of an automated external defibrillator (AED). Registration fee (includes a student handbook, pocket resuscitator and two-year certification e-card): $50. Registration is mandatory and closes at 4 p.m. Thursday, April 11; payment must be made in person at Fire Station 61, 1685 Providence Blvd. For more information, call 386-575-6901.
