Crochet and Play 101: Beginning Crochet

Hosted by the West Volusia Historical Society. For kids ages 9-16. Participants will use a “beginner’s yarn” and large crochet hook to learn and practice basic stitches. This workshop will not result in a finished project, but rather a sampler that can be referred to for future crochet projects and workshops. Another workshop, “Crochet and Play 201: Get Ready for Amigurumi” on Saturday, Jan. 27, will build on what is learned in this workshop. All materials will be provided.
