11 a.m.-5 p.m. at the Southeast Museum of Photography at Daytona State College, 1200 W. International Speedway Blvd., Daytona Beach. This year’s exhibition will feature powerful portraits and stories of local community heroes, including Harold V. Lucas, Esu Ma’at of the Orlando Magic and newly sworn Holly Hill Chief of Police Byron Williams among others. These portraits capture the vibrancy, diversity and resilience of Black heritage while shedding light on the inspiring contributions of those who uplift their communities. The exhibit runs through Wednesday, April 16. Free admission.
