DeBary Holiday Tree Lighting and Chili Cook-Off

Free family activities, including a photo with Santa (2:30-5:30 p.m.); live entertainment and holiday music; activities and vendors at the Gateway Center Winter Marketplace. Those wanting to enter (for free) their chili in the cook-off can do so up to and including Thursday, Dec. 2, at DeBary City Hall, 16 Colomba Road. Cost to sample all the chilis: $1. No parking at the site, but you can ride a free shuttle from (and back to) Marketplace Plaza on Saxon Boulevard. Call 386-601-0206.
