DeLand Death Cafe

1-3 p.m. at Destinations Gift Shop, 110 N. Woodland Blvd., Downtown DeLand. Gather to eat cake, drink tea and discuss death. The Death Cafe is not for profit. It is not a bereavement support group or grief counseling group. The objective is to help increase awareness, normalize and demystify the topics of death and dying, with a view to helping people make the most of their (finite) lives! This event is free; however refreshments such as coffee and baked goods are available for purchase.
