Fireworks and Wildlife
July 3 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am
July Fourth is the most popular beach day of the year, but it also results in the most litter on our shores. Alexa Putillo, field manager for Volusia County’s Sea Turtle Habitat Conservation Plan, will explain how pollution impacts sea turtles, shorebirds and other wildlife. Participants will also learn how they can get involved to help keep the beaches clean. Free. Reservations are required; call 386-789-7207, ext. 21028.
