Florida in February Barbecue Contest

Barbecue contest; live entertainment; KidZone; car show. Hosted by the Rotary Club of DeLand to benefit the Volusia Flagler Family YMCA. Contestants will compete in a blind tasting for the best pork ribs, rib-eye steak and chili. Cash prizes ranging from $100 or $1,000 will be awarded. Tickets: $20 age 12 and above; $10 age 11 and younger; ticket includes admission to the event, and a plate of barbecued pulled pork with two sides and a soft drink or (for age 21 and above with ID) beer.
