Gala to Celebrate Ritz’s 100th Anniversary

The restored, historic Ritz Theater is celebrating its 100th anniversary with a black-tie, roaring ’20s gala fundraiser street party. Live entertainment will feature the Sanford Jazz Ensemble’s music through the decades (featuring singer Courtney Johnson) and an awards ceremony celebrating the theater’s volunteer actor achievements. Guests will enjoy a catered buffet dinner by Top Hat Catering; street entertainment; and a traditional silent auction with theater tickets, a 70” Indoor/Outdoor Projector, a backyard porch heater, curated baskets, and other great items. An online silent auction will feature an eight-day Viking River Cruise-Rhine Getaway valued at $8,000. Patrons do not need to be present to participate in the online auction.
