Hands on History Workshop – A Stitch in Time: Beginning Embroidery

A West Volusia Historical Society History Seekers workshop for youth ages 10-16. Look at some antique samplers, and see how children in the past learned to embroider. Kids will learn some simple but very useful stitches and then create a colorful pin to add to a backpack, hat, or anyplace they want. Cost: $10 WVHS members; $15 nonmembers. Call 386-740-6813.
