Historic Bus Tour of East DeLand, Lake Helen and Cassadaga

Explore eastern DeLand, stop in charming Lake Helen, and then head on to the quaint town of Cassadaga, settled by Spiritualists, for a relaxing lunch and storytelling. With knowledgeable West Volusia Historical Society guides, discover the parts of West Volusia most closely associated with Henry Addison DeLand and the dream he made a reality. Leaving from the West Volusia Historical Society Conrad Center Complex aboard an air-conditioned City of DeLand bus, the tour first stops in Lake Helen, named for Mr. DeLand’s daughter. After a stop at the Lake Helen Town Hall and Museum, relax for lunch at the Cassadaga Hotel and hear intriguing stories about the people who founded the Spiritualist retreat.
